Undergraduate Microbiology
Program of Study
(Catalog: 2005-2007)
The curriculum is one of the areas where faculty contribute to determining learning outcomes. The curriculum sets a standard of learning success and serves as a basis for much of the measurement of successful learning. Adjustments to the curriculum are a significant tool for improving learning outcomes.
The process of curriculum adjustment is an ongoing function. The 2005-2007 Plan of Study incorporated changes to elements of Communications, Bological Sciences, Microbiology, and upper level electives over the 2001-2003 Plan of Study and the 2003-2005 Plan of Study. The current 2005-2007 Plan of Study has been modified for fall of 2005 with additional changes to the required courses and the options available in the upper level courses.
