Microbiology students are exposed to elements of our outcomes assessment process in Microbiology 110, the Microbiology Program orientation course. Students should be aware of the importance of the outcomes assessment program to the curriculum and to their professional development. We strive to have the students value their stake in the outcomes assessment process and to have the students value their potential to contribute to the process.

The outcomes assessment process also begins in Micro 110 by students taking portion four of the CAAP exam which serves as bench mark.
