Logan Ott, a senior in microbiology, recently completed a NASA internship where he studied bacteria with a Maldi-TOF machine.  His internship with NASA was a dream come true. "It took a year and a half to hear back from NASA," he said. He applied to more spots than he received, but his advice is that you won't get a spot if you don't apply.  His advice to students is to work hard and take advantage of opportunities.  Go to ISU stories to read more of this article.
