Students live on the Iowa State University campus during the 2 week camp and learn from university professors, scientists who work for the U.S. government, and local agricultural producers and animal welfare and management organizations.

Part of their hands-on experience included a workshop on July 16 and 18 focusing on Microbiology and how it is used in a variety of applications.

AgDiscovery is made possible by a collaborative agreement between USDA, Animal and Plant Health and Inspection Service (APHIS) and Iowa State University.
