Angela M. Shaw is an assistant professor in Iowa State University's Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition. Her research interests are in creating innovative intervention strategies against E. coli O157:H7, non-O157 STEC, Salmonella, Campylobacter spp., and L. monocytogenes in a variety of commodity groups (i.e. vegetable, fruits, beverage, etc.). Her extension interests include establishing training workshops and literature to aid small and large food producers on how to provide safe food to consumers.
